The emphasis of our practice is on assisting and empowering our clients in making the choices that lead to the greatest amount of positive change and symptom resolution. Ongoing Continuing Education is undertaken in clinical counselling and coach training by all of our counsellors. This ensures a counselling process which is up to date on the newest, latest research and the most effective, efficient ways to get people where they desire to go.

Every person is unique, so every treatment plan must be unique as well. There is no “one size fits all”.

Client Directed Outcome Informed (CDOI) treatment and plans – You will be consulted and your opinions and input will be requested in feedback about your goals, your desired outcomes and your treatment with every step ensuring you are receiving what you want and need each and every time.

Extended Office Hours Appointments will be offered during daytime and evening hours to make it as convenient as possible for you to attend sessions at convenient dates and times.

Home Comforts such comfortable Lazy-Boy chairs for our session rooms, a wide variety of magazines and books in the waiting area (some clients come early just to relax, catch up on reading and enjoy the atmosphere of the waiting room), a separate playroom to entertain children if you need to bring them, a number of refreshments including professional standard coffees (Starbucks, Tim Horton’s, Nabob, Nescafe, Lattés, Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino), Tim Horton’s Herbal Tea selection, Cold Drinks (Lemonade, Jones Soda, Iced Tea, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Crush assortment, Root Beer, Five Alive Juices, and Fruitopia) as well as a variety of treat size comfort candies and chocolates for “snacker” clients.

Clients who opt in will receive regular mail outs and articles regarding the latest thoughts, theories and practical tips/tools to keep you growing and moving in the right direction. A blog site related to our practice for ongoing discussion and support is provided for your convenience to comment on materials and interact with others. Participation online is voluntary.
